MozyHome offers a 2GB backup account absolutely free. Each time one of you signs up, I get 512MB additional storage for free. I use the free version on my work laptop and the paid version ($5/month) on my home PC for unlimited backups. (Once you sign up for an account - you can generate a referral code and get free storage space for each person you get to sign up.)
The service is best used in conjunction with a high speed internet connection and your first backup may take some time to complete so you have to leave your computer connected and powered on for a few days straight.
